Time Management is a nice phrase. Put into practice it saves a lot of hours spent on rather unimportant matters. Facts and Figures about time management. But If you ask us, don’t take it to serious!
Yesterday I discovered a really interesting tool called RescueTime. RescueTime measures your activity on your mac with a little helper in the toolbar. It measures time you spend on facebook and twitter as well as your time in mail.app and InDesign for example. At the end of the day you can analyze how focused you have been.
Additionally you can set alerts for specific activities and you can also block e.g. social media pages for a certain amount of time. The most interesting feature is the “Efficiency Summary” where you can compare yourself with other users of RescueTime.
